According to the public relations report; A modern three-channel partial discharge measurement device has been designed and built with the efforts of the members of the insulation and pressure laboratory of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Khwaja Nasiruddin Tousi University of Technology under the supervision of Dr. Asghar Akbari Azirani, professor of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In recent years, considerable progress has been made in processors, and along with the reduction in volume, the speed and number of calculations per unit of time have increased greatly in these elements. Considering this point, in the construction of the new advanced partial discharge measuring device, it has been tried to detect and process the partial discharge pulses online using the most modern technology of the day and provide comprehensive information regarding the insulation of high pressure equipment. to give The design and construction steps of this device have been done in such a way that it can be completely competitive with its foreign model and can cover all domestic needs in the country. The final product of this project has the ability to be commercialized at a much lower cost than the foreign equivalent. The important features of this project are: Construction of device for measuring and recording partial discharge pulse waveform (PD) with modern technology and high capability Using high-speed processors and FPGA technology to detect PD pulses PD pulse measurement and display online Providing tools for analyzing measured pulses and helping to diagnose insulation defects Reducing foreign exchange and dependence on buying foreign samples in the conditions of embargo The possibility of commercialization and supply of the device for domestic needs Electrical insulation used in electrical industry equipment that has high voltage plays a major role in the correct and reliable operation of this equipment. Measuring and analyzing the phenomenon of partial discharge, which refers to the undesirable presence of tiny sparks as a defect in the insulation of these devices, is an important step in obtaining information regarding the life, insulation characteristics, and diagnosing the health of high-pressure machinery, and by revealing them before From leading to such a defect in the complete failure of the device, and subsequently fixing the defect effectively helps in increasing the life of this equipment.
